Marine Wildlife Sculptures
From observation and reference, most of my sculptures develop as any other animal sculpture, building up from skeleton to body mass. Some animals, I approach from the stone sculptor perspective and carve down to the final surface of the sculpture. Either way, at any stage during this process it becomes more important that it looks right as a sculptural interpretation. Sometimes, whether it’s anatomically correct or not, nature takes its course as the sculpture evolves. I want the character and personality of the animal to flow and draw the viewer to its natural grace and beauty.
The prices shown are correct at the time of release for twelve months, they may increase after this time due to foundry cost increases.
